US based joint venture for PepsiCo and Muller - 10 August 2012
PepsiCo formed a joint venture with Müller to start selling yoghurt in the US.
The joint venture involves building a new yoghurt manufacturing facility in New York and is the first time either PepsiCo or Müller have entered the US market.
The new facility is due to be completed in 2013 and will become one of the largest in the US and firms PepsiCo’s entry to the world dairy market following their acquisition of Russian leading player Wimm-Bill-Dan in 2011.
